Abstract

This study highlights the interactions between research-projects, heritage and creative practices in the higher education of innovative and responsible designer-researchers, capable of anticipating future cultural and technological changes. The research-project methodology adopted as part of the first term of the Master “ Design Research” goes beyond simple artistic creation: it focuses on the enhancement of cultural identity and the preservation of a tangible and intangible heritage ‘the Klim’. In our approach, we adopt a participative and co-constructive approach that encourages collaboration between the various players involved in the cultural project. In this way, design, as a cross-discipline, and heritage, as a vector of identity and a cultural resource, interact closely to produce experiences that are rich in meaning and generate economic value, broadening access to culture and multiplying forms of creation.
